This was the type of restaurant that serve little portion of food on a big plate, then dress up the plate with fancy food painting and sculpture; then charged customers twice it's worth. I had a skate wing and my partner had beef. Both were well cooked and tasted good. We know how big is a skate wing, and there was a fifth of it on my plate, the fish portion was about one inch wide, and there was one potato, I told my partner I would probably need to eat a second dinner when we get back to hotel. I think the restaurant knew that their main meals' portion were small, so they made sure there was always a small basket of bread and butter on the table, and they just kept coming as soon as we finished. We were serve three baskets of bread, thanks god they were free of charge. We also ordered oysters and duck for starters. Duck was good, oysters was a bit gritty and dry, and not as good as those we had in Cancale. For desserts we had cheese board and caramelised apple, both were good. The three course set dinner cost 25 euro each. Overall the food was good but nothing extraordinary and a bit overpriced for its quality. There are very few options nearby so we didn't had much choice. To charge that price level, I think their chef really need to up their game.
