This a great little restaurant with a personal touch and home quality Italian style food. Service is great and prices are quite reasonable.

This was the type of restaurant that serve little portion of food on a big plate, then dress up the plate with fancy food painting and sculpture; then charged customers twice it's worth. I had a skate wing and my partner had beef. Both were well cooked and tasted good. We know how big is a skate wing, and there was a fifth of it on my plate, the fish portion was about one inch wide, and there was one potato, I told my partner I would probably need to eat a second dinner when we get back to hotel. I think the restaurant knew that their main meals' portion were small, so they made sure there was always a small basket of bread and butter on the table, and they just kept coming as soon as we finished. We were serve three baskets of bread, thanks god they were free of charge. We also ordered oysters and duck for starters. Duck was good, oysters was a bit gritty and dry, and not as good as those we had in Cancale. For desserts we had cheese board and caramelised apple, both were good. The three course set dinner cost 25 euro each. Overall the food was good but nothing extraordinary and a bit overpriced for its quality. There are very few options nearby so we didn't had much choice. To charge that price level, I think their chef really need to up their game.

Service was excellent as was the food. This was our second visit to this delightful venue. Since our last visit, the restaurant has added a wooden terrace. It's off the beaten track but well worth making the effort to find. We sat on the terrace as we had our dogs with us and, although it was windy, the glass railings provided shelter. The inside of the restaurant is beautifully appointed and gives a fine dining experience. It's immaculate. The owners are a young couple and are enthusiastic and very friendly. We had a seafood platter which was copious and beautifully presented.

We stumbled upon this place (literally riding our bikes up from the vacation rental) and walked in without reservations. We ordered the pu d'or ??? which was a prix fix menu for $25 and 32 euros. It included 3 different choices of 3 courses. I can't begin to explain how each choice (there were four of us) tasted but we almost licked the plates. With our 13 year old french local with us we were able to sample local favorites and traditional fare. Including a muse bouche, a kir appertif and a bottle of excellent wine it was 148 euros an unbelievable value to us 'gauche' americans. In addition the casual patio was perfect for families but inside looked very upscale.

I participated in two group dinners there, and found the food uninspired, especially a pork dish. The next night we had fish, and it was much better.

First restaurant we visited in Carnac. The food is beautiful! Absolutely wonderful. Fantastic presentation too. Excellent value with the menu starting at €25 for 3 courses. The fish is mouthwatering delicious. Couldn't recommend high enough. Seems to be a very popular place (especially amongst locals) so I would recommend a reservation. They were turning people away while we were there as they were fully booked. An absolute must if in Carnac.
