Tj's - Réservation de table

Cooked to order, great batter for a succulent large cod, chips not soggy and delicious, separate boxes for each and a carrying bag, salt and vinegar added by server. Just over £10. Looking forward to my next visit. Ate half waiting for the Breezer 60 Bus to Sandbanks, and ate the other half on the beach tables facing Poole Harbour. Some seating available for walk-in and pre-ordered customers to wait for orders. I highly recommend and thank the Team I had cook and serve on Thursday 25 May 2023.

I have visited this restaurant twice this month and both times the food has been excellent. I really appreciate that they offer gluten-free batter, and it's the best I have ever tried. The fish was crispy and filled with succulent cod. The chips were also well-cooked, in a decent portion size, and not greasy at all. This restaurant is one of the best fish and chip shops in the area, and it has now become my go-to spot, replacing Nick the Fish at Penn Hill.

Always the same, despite being busy most lunchtimes they never have anything ready. More scared to loose a sausage than turn customers round quickly. If you arrive as a load of orders become ready, takes ages to order whilst they serve them then you start the wait for cooking. Yes it's fresh and nice but so so slow. You have numerous building sites nearby plenty of trade ...

Wow what can I say the most amazing fish and chips I have had in a long time the fish was lovely in a light crispy batter and chips where nice and crispy with a fluffy middle amazing nice and hot to!! And the staff where very friendly and helpful. Great menu choices Réservez une table maintenant

I am writing a review about fish and chips. We first tried TJ's 15 years ago and the taste, quality, and friendliness of the staff have remained consistent. TJ's never disappoints. Whenever we are in the area, our first meal of the night is always at TJ's.

Took my mum here as they now do Gluten free food, and she was very very happy with her gluten free fish n chips with gluten free curry sauce! Fish was moist and the batter was very tasty, chips super tasty and the curry sauce was delish.

The fish and chips were excellent, but the pea fritters were terrible. I bought two for $1.70 each and they were extremely dry and ended up in the trash. I do not recommend purchasing the pea fritters.

I’ve been taking the kids to TJs for years until recently one of the best local chippies. Tonight this was the kids portion £6.25. No excuses you’ve just lost a regular. Réservez une table maintenant

Beautiful chips and a great size portion too. We came in the summer holidays whilst it was busy but service was still very quick and the food tasted fantastic.

love the food from TJ's. always nice staff, friendly, helpful and speedy with the order. Even thought its miles from where I live it's worth the trip.
