located right at the bottom of the ski-lifts (Front de Neige), with a large, and sunny terrace in front of the restaurant. Went there in March, so temperatures were perfect for a pizza outside on the terrace (for lunch).The pizza's were well sized, and VERY good.... and surprizingly moderately priced, especially being in a ski resort, in a place at the Front De Neige, overlooking the ski slopes. Actually, they don't charge more than an average pizzeria elsewhere.Go there for a pizza, you won't regret. Cannot judge about the other food, as we did not try it.
Located on the "front de neige", there is a nice view of the pistes. On the outside it looks like a fast food place, but don't be put off, inside the decor is charming, mountain style, it's luminous and spacious. The food is of the best we have had in Risoul, it's fresh, portions are generous, staff is friendly and helpful.
When you come to Risoul you can't pass by indifferently to the l'ecureuil! Very easy access specialy when you want to have a break for lunch during skiing!specious terrace allows to enjoy the sun. You have to wait a bit for your order ( midday always full) but it's worth it! Very generous portions with reasonable prices. And pizza- the best I ever tasted!in the evening you can discover mountain's specialities in cosy atmosphere. Service is very strong point of this restaurant, always smailling and polite. I recommend!
we ate twice here for lunch during our stay in risoul. the menu has many choices and they have a plat du jour option. I would recommend the steak chess, the pizzas and the crème brulée. the tartiflette was something too creamy, although....Service wasn't the friendly, but it was so busy that they can be forgiven.
