I was sober which was the main issue. Everyone else was plastered by 1pm and dancing on the tables had already started. The tables are jammed so close together you can't get out and the staff have to pass the food to the nearest person to pass round. The music is very loud, so you can't speak and we were charged for a magnum of wine that we didn't order. The wine we did order never arrived ...so we had our main course and left. The waiter complained angrily that we wouldn't leave a tip but when we pointed out all the failings he said it wasn't his fault and we should give him a tip. We wouldn't , so he had a stand up row with the wine waiter. Hilarious. They also charge for tap water at €7 per carafe which is illegal in France. Don't bother, ski 200 meters further into the classy Chalet St Pierre.
