when we were there, they had two lunches on offer, which were marked as wg with optional non-veg toppings fish or makrele tempura. when we asked what they meant by wg, the waitress would repeat it with végétal herbal means, but woulnd 't use the word vegan végan or végétalien , which was confusing. the Japanese dishes were quite original, tasty and beautifully presented. on the bottom the service was somewhat underwhelming and the coffee was pretty bad.

Japanese kitchen in the basque country. we had udon in a Komatsura bread (cocococos milk, coriander, basilikum, chili pepper. , a fresh limonade with ingwer and a drink with cauliflower, carrot and yuzu. we have not tried the deserts. almost everything is organic! it was very aesthetic in the plate. the personal is very friendly.

Although there were not many vegan options, they were very attentive and modified 2 of their vegetarian options. The result was amazing. They are fully organic and all the wears are artisan/Japanese inspired. And they have true leaf genmaicha tea!

We went in to see the letter and vegan saw nothing, vegetarian. We're not staying for dinner.

There aren't many places in France where you can eat vegan food, especially not in St Jean de Luz, so this was a welcome change. My partner's meal was cold (I think it was supposed to be), but the sake was warm. Weird.
