L'instant Gourmand Saint Maurice Les Brousses

We had the 34 euro lunch menu in the restaurant which was very very disappointing. This was a birthday treat given by a friend. The main course of fish was dry and shrivelled to the point of disappearing. There wasn't anything else on the plate apart from a few cerise tomatoes and limp asparagus tips. The service was very very slow, and took three hours to complete the meal. Even though we live locally we will not recommend this restaurant and sadly we won't be returning.

We have wanted to try this place for sometime and were amazed with what we found, the waitress was very helpful, let us choose a table by the log fire, the seating area was clean and well organised. My entrecôte was cooked perfectly, it was also the largest I have ever eaten. We will certainly be returning soon.

The best recommendation for any restaurant is to see how busy the place is. This Instant Gourmand is always especially at lunchtime very busy. We had lunch here and can only say the price quality and friendly service was excellent. We still have to come back for dinner and I suppose we will not be dissapointed

We had a very good lunch indeed in a nice atmosphere. We took the menu fixe for €13.50. 3 courses, a glass of wine and a coffee. This friendly couple deserve to succeed. Peter et Laurence Devlin Oxford
