A simple Brasserie in a village in the heart of the Charente-Maritime countryside. Welcoming hosts Bill and Phil (she’s in the kitchen) make you immediately feel at home. They run specials most Fridays, and the last Friday of each month is Fish Chips. These are definitely worth seeking out the best home-cooked fish and chips we’ve had in for a set three-course meal. Nothing pretentious, but if you’re in need of a little home comfort, this is a good spot, and also worth following on Facebook for news on the specials.
