Rendezvous - Réservation de table

Food was perfectly cooked to order meaning it can take a little more time to be served because but there is a sign advising customers of this and it is well worth the wait. I treated myself to fried bread with my brunch and it was the best I've ever had with the perfect egg to dip it in. There was a vegetarian option too. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The interior is simple cafe furniture but was clean and not cramped. Prices are extremely reasonable so great value for money. I also spotted a fresh baked cake which looked very tempting. I'd definitely visit again if I have the chance next time I'm in Scarborough.

My partner and I were very disappointed when we visited. We had been going to the place every day during our visits to Scarborough over the last 20 years but never again. Yes it has been redecorated which needed doing but the menu has been changed too, it's all fry or salad meals, not one meat and veg meal. We thought we noticed Scampi on the menu but when I ordered it the proprietor said in a unfriendly way that Scampi is not on the menu. We ordered a cup of tea then left.

Well well look good on the outside. I had coffee and food. the food was not to good. The coffee was not like a coffee. The male toilet roof was not there u could see wot it when you go they . I would say to keep away from it. The old owner look after it . The carpet cleaner done with the Hoover and clean when I went in it looked a mass. Cleaning stuff been left out where kids could got like hand tools not put way

I have read some negative reviews about the owner and the food at this restaurant, but during my two-week stay in Scarborough in early August, I went there for breakfast almost every day and never encountered any problems with either. I will definitely be returning in October and Rendezvous Cafe will be my go-to spot for breakfast once again. Réservez une table maintenant

The restaurant appeared decent from the outside, but I regret not inspecting the kitchen and bathroom before placing my order. Both were dirty and disorganized. I waited 30 minutes for a subpar toastie. I have no plans to return to this establishment.

This cafe is like travelling back in time. You can experience history here. Its very retro! The staff are friendly and the food is old fashioned. if you like Ovaltine and somewhere that is traditional rather than modern this is the place to be!

I had a satisfying breakfast with coffee at this restaurant. They have improved the appearance of the place since my last visit, and the breakfast was delicious. The runny egg, bacon, and beans were all cooked perfectly.

If Brexit was a cafe then this would be it, which is ironic given the name. Expect Union Jacks aplenty, garish neon lights and a not-so-friendly glare from the proprietor. Nil pois. Réservez une table maintenant

Called in here for two takeaway breakfast muffins. Took a while to be served as it looks like everything is made to order but well worth the wait.
