This cafe looks nice, location also good (city centre) and menu also not too bad.....but the staff is a discrease..... Not helpful at all, talking behind customers back (when they know you do not talk or understand French). Never experienced something like this. Do not go here!!
We went for a quick meal here. Roast lamb with stuffed mushrooms, quite nice, and then a really nice dessert of brownies with ice-cream. What was unusual about the place was the waiter called Christian, who was a real character, he knew his job well, explained the special dishes of the day etc. but was the epitome of a French waiter....a bit cheeky even borderline rude, but very funny. He chatted up all the attractive female customers, was wonderful with the small children and had a very acid sense of humour, left with a smile on my face.
This is probably the worst restaurant I have ever been.1. The service is very poor with the waitress being bored and annoyed by any request.2. The food is terrible. 6 people couldn't even started eating their entrecote because was smelly and distusting. The burgher was probably even worse and one person puked for two days after having eaten it. I order a soup and I was lucky I decided stop eating it just after the first spoon. I did not ask for anything else because I realized everything would have been disgusting.
The food was really bad: they were unable to cook the entrecôte and also the other dishes were quite disgusting. Chips were served cold. We were very hungry so we asked for some bread at the beginning but the waiter didn't bring it to us because she said we had to wait for the main course. At the end we said it was impossible to eat the meat so we ordered something else but she charged the entrecôte in any case. I suggest to avoid going to this place!
