Not impressed. Had two pastries and some tea. Tea was fine, but its the same tea that is served by all the other patisserie in Strasbourg, and, truly, by most of all the restaurants of any sort, as well as many of the hotels, and I steeped it myself at the table. Of the two pastries I had, one was fantastic, while the other was fairly dry - the fruit on its top was quite delicious, but the cake beneath it had little taste to it. Service was awful; people kept sitting down at tables that still had the remains from the previous occupants' meal on it because otherwise it would've meant people were standing around for ages waiting for the servers to clear away these messes. Even after I sat down it was at least ten minutes before someone took the dirty plates away. And then there's the bathroom. I was appalled. The public bathrooms out in the city were far, far cleaner than these awful closets with lights on timers. As I was washing my hands, I was suddenly plunged into darkness. Both bathrooms reeked of months of stale urine - I can only imagine they never mop. The stench was so heavy I kept gagging. The toilet seat was soaked with urine itself - I took several paper towels and wet them in the sink to wipe it off so I could sit as I did not feel inclined to hover and add to the foul state of the place myself. Do not even consider going here. There are literally dozens of patisserie within a stone's throw of the place that are much better. The prices are a touch lower than those other places, but if the bathroom is so foul, I can only imagine that the food itself might not be clean at all.
