Round The Square - Réservation de table

Ordered food and cup of tea just after left at having not had our food and an average cup of tea. About people (who ordered after us) had their food before us. We kept being told that it wouldn't be long...and that we'd have one free if we waited until they'd served the whole table that they'd started serving before us but as soon as they started bringing out food for another table we got up, asked for our money back and left. Will definitely not be going back.

This is now called the Killay Cafe and has the advantage of being the only cafe in this busy local shopping precinct. And whilst the cafe is pleasant with friendly staff the service is unacceptably slow. We had steak sandwiches took around minutes...to appear and whilst the filling was fine, the bread roll was limp and tasteless. There's a great opportunity for a good local cafe here but at the moment this isn't it.

I really enjoyed the small breakfast at this restaurant - the large breakfast is huge! At £6.50, including a nice coffee, it seemed like a good deal. They currently only accept cash (there is an ATM at the nearby Co-op). I have visited a few times and generally experienced quick service, although there can be a delay when it's busy or if there are fewer staff working.

I had to assist the cashier in calculating the cost of our order. I requested drinks first, but they arrived 3 minutes before the food. We waited for over an hour for our order to be served, even though there were only 3 tables with customers. The food was average, neither bad nor good. The staff were friendly, which is why I gave more than one star. Réservez une table maintenant

Enjoyed a beautifully presented and great tasting coffee, and a warm toasted tea cake with butter. A mid morning treat! This place is friendly, warm and welcoming, and has good ambience. Social distancing etc. is well managed and inspires confidence. Only sorry I didn't take pics. this time. Looking forward to my next visit.

This cafe is a must to visit, a jewel in the crown that is the precinct. Home cooked food , warm hearted friendly service, everything scrupulously clean and under new management from approx months ago. Once visited it will be a must visit on...a regular basis. Wide choice of meals all scrumptious. I am huge fan of this cafe

The menu is very interesting with lots of veggie options, but don’t go if you are in a rush. The food took forever to arrive. The waitress was rather surly too! Our omelettes were very tasty though and would probably return
