After an absence of 2 years from Vence, we returned to find things little changed. La Farigoule, for example, is as glorious as ever. Beautiful weather means that dinner in the pretty courtyard at the rear is sheer delight. Front of house, the owner and staff are totally charming and the chef proprietor in the kitchen produces delicious, imaginative food. I'm sure another return visit this evening will fully justify my view that this is by far the best restaurant in Vence and its environs.
This interior courtyard enticed us as soon as we walked in - so beautiful - cannot describe. The owner and helper were amazing and helpful. I can't tell you how many times we returned. I tried many main courses and all were delicious. I brought at least 4 sets of friends and saved La Farigoule for our final night in Vence - I often find that when one returns to a resto too often, it isn't as good. This was amazing. Merci!!!!
