A lovely evening and a delicious romantic dinner. The food was beautifully presented with several items coming from their garden. Breakfast was again delicious, served in a garden room. A true delight!

the dinner was very rich and tasty. service was the best with very good advices and big smiles.the desserts were a wonder, and the wines too.

Fantastic food served in a wonderfully decorated dining room. I am not familiar enough with Normandy specialities to know if the dishes were traditional but certainly the ingredients were local. It was hard to choose from the interesting menu and the extensive wine list was an education. The staff were very attentive and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and elegant and rather special.

The hotelier Eric Brial is a perfect host. We spent one night and no doubt worth the expense. Tasting dinner was superb but not over the top. From the local organic duck, to the morning's homemade yogurt, everything spot on without pretense or religiosity. Some magnificent trees in the garden, not to miss. And Verneuil-sur-Avre a treasure to explore.

Beautiful dining room with maybe 15 tables. Service was superb -- friendly and professional. And the food! Cuisine of Normandy, with excellent seafood, pears (and Calvados) and desserts to die for. Don't miss it.

Great food!! Good wines. Excellent and attentive service. The restaurant is in a lovely hotel with a picturesque setting. Would go back again.

Excellent dinner in a classic French style, well prepared and presented. A perfect end to our two week vacation.
