We visited this restaurant on July 1. When we arrived, there were not many guests, but soon a lot of guests arrived in the restaurant. The food (pizza reine and caesar salad) tasted good, but not exceptional. Generous portions. Our waitress did a great job. She was very polite, friendly and efficient. Everything was like it should be, and to our satisfaction We would very much like to come back later this holiday, as we are still in Villeneuve-Loubet at the time of this review.

We have been only once in this restaurant, it looked simple but cozy from the see side and we decided to check it (they have a see-food plates and it was second reason why we have been in this place). Honestly to say...we wanted to have a small drink one evening before (before a dinner) on the table outside of the restaurant (small terasse..), but a woman from service told us shortly: we are closed before dinner,... Not very friendly she was...whatever...First of all, this is a simple place and they were very busy in this evening when we came (we booked), so we were lucky to come earlier, so our kids and we had a food and we didn't wait too long. Food: big, very big portions... But taste.... Not tasty, without love to ingredients, borring "touristic food" and it is a very very shame... (i am really sorry!) we had a secar salat, crevetes (they were raw and ok), some different pizzas...2 of them had so many garlic inside, simple too much... bitter-bitter garlic. And of course a plate of see-food (raw). It was a noisy and chaotic around. If you are a couple, or family with kids i would recommend another more cozy place.
Each year I bring a team of female cyclists to train in the mountains behind Nice. A dinner at this restaurant, Santa Lucia, ended up with the waiter loosing a plate of food, hitting one of my clients HARD in the head and bouncing over on me and into my knee. One thing was the knee and head hurting, the other thing was all my clothe filled with food and a pair of 200 euro boots was ruined. The owner of the restaurant, said that they would cover the damages by 15 euro. When I said that I did not agree, she simply called the GENDARMERY (french military police). My team of 18 women and I was very surprised when 6 rough policemen, arrived at the restaurant 3 minutes later. It was a very frightning experience, that ended up with me being treathned, and signing a paper saying that 15 euro was good enough to cover all the damages. In french one officer joked with sending me to the animal doctor, vetenarian (the same word in english). He also said, "You are in France, so you must speak french". With the massacre in Nice this summer, Im outraged that local frenchmen at this restaurant uses the GENDARMERY to frighten lille women, who actually bring work and money to the region. The restaurant is obviously somehow in family with someone there and abuse this relation. I will take this situation to the mare of Nice and for sure move my activities to other regions. DONT EVER VISIT THIS restaurant, where the food in addition is of very low quality.
