we had a family day today at abbey. we haven't eaten on the pier for years, so we thought we'd let it go. I must say that my pee and chips were probably one of the best fish and chip meal times I've ever had. sweet, beautifully cooked fish, light scattering and beautiful chips. we had a mixture of crooked, cadry and chips, chicken pussies and shlits and chips and all have deleted their teller. there were many nice little touches. large, rectangular plates, a real quartered lemon to press on the fish, a jug of hot water to keep the teekanne running, beautiful porcelains and sauces and big bags of stokes sauces. great view and the staff were nice and helpful. we really enjoyed it and will cert...
At this time of year we like to go out for a walk by the coast on a Sunday evening and stop for a cuppa somewhere but so many places close early on a Sunday so it was nice to find a pleasant place open after 6! We only had a hot drink but observed that it was a very clean and modern establishment with lovely views over the sea! The menu looked varied too!
what a nice place yesterday before the return to south yorkshire called for a beer. the coffee was really good and we had a naughty bowl with chips that was crushed. especially, although we wanted only two drinks and a bowl of chips, we were welcome. very also enjoyed the view. we were just an hour in town, but found a jewel.
