Lost in the middle of nowhere, the large bouchat mill hostel offers a bucolic setting on the edge of fishing sonlac. inside a large room that can contain at least 200 people looks more like a canteen than a restaurant. It is that on Thursday evening, the house specializes in the offer of frog thighs, offers that meets a very great success and that the inhabitants of the region have already enjoyed on either occasion. When we, with friends, we have enjoyed ourselves with duck foie gras and onion jam, but also the cute net with girolles and its vegetable trim. dessert, a little fruit maker was simply sublime. At the beginning of autumn, we have had to settle for lunch at noon inside the establishment, but we will certainly return to the beautiful season because the tables on the outside invite a new visit, on the waterfront.
Beautiful day this June 10th with family. First this restaurant is on the commune of Mazet-Saint-Voy. Nice establishment, like the owners who have reserved us a warm welcome. The meal has 24 € is very appreciated, and I loved the back of the cod with shrimp sauce as well as the white cheese with creme and red fruit coulis. The setting is wonderful with these small lakes has truite and the view of the Lizieux.Café caught on the flowery terrace and digestive walk around one of the lakes.
very average family meal. a view of the frame we expect a kitchen to the top but nothing to see: good but no more. I suspect we were served the remains of the wedding the day before. Lunch on Sunday noon too long. supplement foie gras home unjustified and even abused. otherwise pleasant outdoor terrace but you should avoid drinking a drink when it's hot (no ice at the bar)! or fishing (tariff)!. I don't advise.
I tested the restaurant during a family meal on a menu at 24€. I chose:- foie gras home (please 3€50): I am an amateur and this one will remain correct without more for me.Frog hair; This seems to be home speciality since the establishment organizes every Thursday in summer a meal "frog clutches at will" ; I'm not convinced because the frog thighs are very small and there's more to suck than eat. dried cheese tray: correct but pre-cut in portion is not pleasant even if the service is at will-. greedy plate : correct but nothing exceptional-. coffee: bad guy robusta. The setting is pleasant with a very beautiful room but it seems to me that there are some progress to go to a value for money from the attractive menu. Warning unlike what is said header the restaurant is on the commune of the holy mazet voy 43250 (it is better for the gps)
the frame with the fishing ponds, and the view of the lizable is superb. I especially recommend the home foie gras terrine, but you will not be disappointed by the other plates. the plates are generous, well presented and succulent. ideal for family meals, banquets and weddings!
