I don't know. we all enjoyed eating very well and had a nice evening. the service was fabulous and the pleasant family atmosphere has made very good. super! I'm looking forward to next time."

"During our visit to Umland of Frankfurt we visited Cafes in Oberursel and Bad Homburg. We cooked this time, but then something sweet in the afternoon has to come. The L'Art Sucré route was very important to us. In Bad Homburg, the boutique on Louisenstraße is located in the centre of the pedestrian area. The business is tiny. Only a few seats are available for guests. But you can also buy and take away. We also chose this variant. We entered the shop and were very impressed by the variety of villages and pralines that caught our eye. The young man behind the counter immediately radiated a whole joy at work for me. Cleanliness Everything worked pikobello well maintained. Despite the small size, the store had its own toilet, which was cleanly prepared. Service The man in sale was professionally well trained. He presented the goods with love. Questions have been answered in detail and patiently. Here I really felt like “cans”. After some thoughts we bought a small selection of chocolates, Macarons, Törtchen and Petit Fours. The seller packed the goods very carefully. The cubes were frozen into a box and attached to the bottom with liquid sugar as "stickers". That made the transport home easy. Li La (Törtchen mit Waldfruit Filling – Weiße Creme – Walnut – Schlechen The small work of art immediately convinced me visually. But also the taste was excellent. The bright cream was loose and light. The fruits and nuts were processed inside. The purple flavors were balanced to wear. The floor was also delicious. The above ornaments were made from a Marshmallow mass. Lemons Tarte This dish has an edge of Baiser foam and in the middle a lemon lemonen hemisphere. The taste is a bomb of citrus aromas. Below is a loose dough. Vanilla Törtchen Like the lemon tea from soft cream, but of course the vanilla taste was in the foreground. Macarons Our two specimens were filled with white chocolate mousse and forest fruit jelly. Petit fours Once a lemon cream similar to the tart and then a specimen with chocolate cream. Here we had to taste aromas of caramel, anis, tonka, croque and nougat. The small works were delicious and good for us, but could not convince us as the other products we found excellent. Conclusion 5 – necessarily again when it comes to the small villages. (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it returns, 4 – again happy, 5 – absolutely again – after “Kuechenreise” Visiting date: 20.01.2016 – 3 persons"

"Since hotels offer breakfast at excessive prices, you need to look for alternatives. In Bad Homburg I also came to the Kamps branch due to the opening hours of 7:00. Here I ordered the gourmet breakfast at 9 EUR. For this you get a large dish with sausage and cheese, butter and a bread basket. The whole is complemented with a freshly pressed large glass of orange juice and a large cup of coffee. The baked goods look as usual as stamped out. Chain goods, but freshly baked. Besides the salami a good choice and quality, with the type of standard salami personally not lying on me. But overall a good performance and amount and an alternative for hotel guests who are professional in Bad Homburg and their budget or travel expenses for 2 days are not included in the breakfast."

Hope Café

Hope Café

Kaffee Und Kuchen, Spezialitäten, Deutsch, Kaffee

"At the end of April a medical visit to Bad Homburg (not only kulinarisch) leads us so far unknown. Who is it surprising that the resort has inspired the playful writer Fjodor Dostojewski to the fictional “Roulettenburg” with the legendary charm of past times? After arrival, however, we do not feel like a double zero, but after a strong coffee. The central, car-free Flanier and Shoppigmeile Louisenstraße seems to be a good starting point. Between department stores, banks, cell phone shops, a gastronomic offer goes on to the other. Despite windy, cool weather, you can stand out. At first glance, the Hope Café convinces with a simple but welcoming design, bright colors, cozy furniture and an attractive range of coffee specialities. A bit reminds us of the recently discovered “Suedhang” in Tübingen, not so purist. At the Hope Café you sit very comfortably on deep, softly padded sofas or vintage chairs, with a colourful mix of small side tables, Bauhaus lamps, carpets, photographs on delicate pastel paint walls. Everything absolutely correct and very manually arranged. The situation must be very new, possibly only since the beginning of 2022? Ordered and paid in the vault, where you can also see the beautiful offer of homemade cakes and cakes and macarons and other confectionery. Unfortunately not my Gusto – but it's really good to see. Then in place. The team speaks English with each other, with the guests in any other language. The service is friendly, very accommodating, very eager. If I ask for the manufacturer of comfortable sofas, I will immediately receive information and the name of the supplier is written. Here it is important to be an independent, local, individual company and not a branch of a large chain. The coffee specialities from Brazilian beans are characterized by a hearty aroma. The Flat White (3.90 Euro) is served in heavy, thick-walled cups that last for a long time. The coffee makes wonderful awake, but not delicate. Well, maybe the cozy, bright ambience also ensures the necessary degree of relaxation. The toilets also convince with absolute cleanliness and cleanliness – like everything in this house. Some of the coffee table books and printing units are available for leafing and manufacturing. In good weather you can also sit outside the door, directly on the pedestrian zone. Many of the guests seem to take a break during their shopping tours or after a round in the Kurpark. Of course you come on foot or by bike. Whether there's parking nearby, I couldn't regret it. All in all, the hospitality, the warm service and the cosy ambience at the Hope Café have convinced me completely. If I lived here, I'd probably be over. A real light look between all countless, faceless starucks and coffee fellows. The slogan of the café is not for nothing: right from the heart. The operators are very successful!"

Best Worscht In Town

Best Worscht In Town

Louisenstraße 86-90, 61348 Bad Homburg Vor Der Höhe , Hessen, Bad Homburg vor der Hoehe, Germany

Vegetarisch, Currywurst, Fast Food, Bratwurst, Kaffee

"Just feel appetite for deficant, hearty when all-place coffee and cake time is taken up, is one of the most culinary. But can also develop into a happy Worscht case scenario if you should move randomly in Frankfurt. Previously, “Best Worscht in Town” was a popular legend, a long Eldorado for us. What a surprise weep when we suddenly face one of the sausage dealers on a Saturday afternoon in Bad Homburg. What is the secret of Best Worscht's success? Definitely in the countless, very individual combinations of sausage, curry and sharpness. Maybe the delicious frites with some exotic toppings? Or special bread? Or the super-friendly, awakened, always well-earned and customer-oriented employees? Especially the big promise: “Pommes or sausage not hot enough? In style or not in taste? Don't let the Worschtdealer know and you get a replacement for free. Your gratitude is ours!” Nothing can go wrong. We take 2x snacker combination of 9.80 euros. 1x with classical bovine sausage as base and 1x for experimental purposes in a vegetarian variant. Here you can actually choose between Bio Vegan and Protein Vegan – we test the latter variant in which soya and peas seem to be stuck. This can be combined with nine different currysaucen from Old School to Free Style to Honey Love) and seven different shepherds from Bissi Prickeln to Mundorgasmus to Godfathers Deathkiss. Our decision is based on the taste of Pirate: a combination of Lemon, Jambalaya and Bear Lie. In a degree of sharpness, which moves gently in the lower half of the burner. For this purpose there is no tasteless bread, but a strong, dark peasant bread made of sourdough. Great! If you're lucky, you'll even get the crispy bargain. The test shows that in a blind tasting you could not taste a great difference between the classic and the vegan variant. First-class curry sauce and many fresh onions dominate the taste. However, the probably freeze-dried beard liquor reminds of paper snippets. Unfortunately much too late we discover the sign: Onionche free. Next time I will definitely order an additional part of it. The Snackers Combo also includes a cold drink and a small part of the frits. They are beautifully thick, feisty, voluminous, juicy and are optionally crowned by ketchup or mayonnaise. And that is absolutely not done. In addition to the Snackers Combo, three other arrangements are offered, worth up to 13.50 euros. Gourmets will certainly also gout the trufflemayonnaise Parmesan or the guacamole as a frits. Anyone who falls in love with the peasant bread can even buy kilos against pre-order or depending on availability. Newcomers or indecisions are patiently and thoroughly advised by the sausage dealer. In between – if there is time he walks around and asks with honest interest whether it sounds. Almost you would feel like a first-class restaurant, you wouldn't eat your meal on stand tables with wooden picks. The audience is wide. We eat three generations of a very happy Spanish tourist family. In addition, two giggling girls. And behind us a lonely cowboy who seems to be a regular guest. Here you will quickly become a repeater."
