"The Lennoxtown Swan Inn closed in early 2012 and reopened in October 2012, but it is now very different from its previous friendly pub restaurant atmosphere. Many beloved features such as fireside couches, live music, family and dog-friendly sections, excellent food from the West Brewing Company, and drink promotions are now gone. The new management has implemented disappointing policies that have changed the vibe of the pub, with low-quality drinks, bright lights, and loud televisions playing news channels. The lack of food service is a major letdown, as the previous menu offered great deals like 2 can dine for £12.99 for a two-course meal with wine. The new Swan Inn currently does not serve any food, with no concrete plans to start anytime soon. The drinks menu has also shifted to focus on shots and a 'bomb menu' for heavy drinkers, rather than the quality beers they used to offer. This change in atmosphere has led to incidents of fighting and vandalism in the pub shortly after its reopening. The pub now has a 'no tracksuits' sign on the door, but it is unclear who the target demographic is without families, dog owners, or casual patrons. Overall, the new Swan Inn has lost its charm and appeal, and it is a disappointment to see its decline from its previous reputation as a welcoming pub restaurant."
