"The restaurant is beautiful with a view of the Salzhaff. Surrounded by other restaurants, Haffplatz is very busy. A tip: the sun goes behind the place so that a beautiful light scene can be seen on the Haff in clear sky. So much to the location. We are two on Friday nights walked over the Haffplatz in search of a place for our last dinner at the place before the home trip. Since we were in Rerik on the Baltic Sea, it should be a well-kept fish dish. Our choice fell on the Käptns Klönstuv also because of the nice handwritten boards. We first ordered the drinks that were taken from a second operation in small glasses, although we had ordered large ones. We still name them with the hint to get two small drinks at the old price. We first got our salads: cucumber salad €2.80, cucumber slices with a yogurt dressing that tasted after vegetable broth on a soup plate and a colorful salad also with yogurt dressing €3.80 . The Haffplatte fish dish, €18.90 for two people was then an absolute disappointment. Here is the indication that we place relatively rarely food, modest demands on food; but here the deficiencies: • Among the three varieties of fish was unhurried, cold frozen vegetables and asparagus hot! from the can/glass • The ordered roasted potatoes were cold and were neither cherry nor tasty • the rosemary potatoes were lukewarm salt potatoes with dry cut rosemary. She agreed and made the offer to warm up the vegetables. There was no discussion of the operation. Since we are really very untrained with service personnel and do not put great demands and we are simply unskilled in complainting, we ended the unpleasant situation with the indication not to want to eat food, but to pay it. We got the bill without words. Several comments on eating etc. during the payment process were ignored and not answered. There was no discount on the bill, no apology for the food, no offer of a drink to the house or the like. On the contrary, the service made us the accusation that no one else would have complained to us today. We were mad and disappointed about the treatment and the price of good 20 euros for a ice cream dish that we would have prepared much better ourselves. Then the last surprise: on the invoice there were four small drinks of which we had drunk but not at the price of two big ones, so there was still one last complaint."
