"The rose garden is a little hidden north of the windshield peak in the forest near the B28 towards Metzingen. Access takes place via the industrial area In Laisen or via an extension of Richard-Wagner-Straße from the East City. The calm situation may be somewhat disturbed in the future, as the north portal of the new wind tunnel is in the immediate vicinity. We returned here spontaneously to enjoy a lukewarm summer evening. Ambience Cleanliness The beer garden is terraced over several levels. Thus, there are several different lobbies, sometimes thoughtful, sometimes under the open sky. In one corner there is a playground for children, in another several TVs for football fans. Even music does not run in all areas. So everyone can choose the environment that suits him. The many green and the classic beer garden furniture create a very authentic flair. It may also be smoked, which is uninhabited at one time. Everything worked so clean and welcoming. There is no classical service in the square, just as usual in the traditional beer garden. Beverages are collected at the counter where they are paid directly. The food is ordered at the kitchen counter and then brought to the table together. The staff is a little rough and directly but effective and quick. Food Drinking The menu is colourful mixed and offers from currywurst and hamburgers to meat cheeses, muzzles, carving and pan dishes to pizza, toast and salads so much that is not too complicated and tastes well outside. We decided to: Pulled pork with Krautsalat Cheeseburger Schwäbischer Wurstsalat Hamburger Since I first had pulled pork a few years ago, I regularly grab back when I see it in the restaurant on the map. Again, I do not regret my choice. It is nicely delicate with a pronounced smokey taste, simply great. In addition, the mandatory coleslaw, what needs more. The sausage salad is often a safe choice in Swabians, even in terms of price-performance ratio. My son tastes good, but he has a little effort to empty the plate completely. Hamburger and Cheeseburger are fine but not outstanding. The Rosengarten in Reutlingen is something special in a beautifully landscaped, hidden woody location. The kitchen is of solid quality with a diverse range. You serve yourself, the price is attractive. A secret tip for the next bike tour."
