"One of the many pubs owned by the Izakaya Pub company, which is well-known for its association with Ossett Brewery. These pubs have a distinct 'feel' or style that you may recognize if you have visited others. The beer selection is typical for these establishments, mostly from their own breweries (Ossett, Riverhead, and Fernandes) with occasional guest beers. Don't let its past reputation deter you! This pub has undergone a transformation and is now a very enjoyable real ale pub, making it a convenient stop on the increasing number of real ale pubs on the expanding Sowerby Bridge circuit."
