"Lohner’s is a bakery and coffee house chain that operates numerous branches in Rheinland-Pfalz, NRW and Hessen. In Lohner’s coffee house in Treis-Karden we have breakfast several times during our holiday at the Mosel. The first visit was random. We were looking for breakfast in the morning after our arrival. Since we were not joined in the Karden district, we drove over the Moselle to Treis. The coffee house was located directly on the market square. In the beautiful weather there were the proverbial places in the sun. We found a table, we took place. After a short time we got the cards. Various breakfast options have been offered. We chose a hearty version with bread basket, sausage, cheese and cooked egg. We received well-filled breakfast stews, plus the bread basket with fresh, crispy rolls. There we could feed! Also the ordered coffee was very good. Small dishes are offered at noon. There is also a wide selection of cakes and cakes that looked delicious. The interior ambience is modern and welcoming. During all visits we sat outside, on the marketplace, and were able to observe the driving. Life can be beautiful... The coffee house was always well visited, that speaks for itself. Not only tourists, but also local guests returned here. Once our landlord came by, saw us and held a little chat. Very familiar. We experienced the staff friendly and accommodating during all visits. Only once, at the last visit, there was a bread basket. When we set this up, the operation we had not seen until then became tangible. After we remained stubborn, the missing bread was served. Something like that doesn't have to be and can be turned off. The coffee house has its own parking lot. Further parking is available directly on the marketplace, only has to be paid there. Overall we felt comfortable at all visits and can recommend a visit."
