"My last visit to the Felschbachhof is actually 5 years ago! At that time as part of a seminar, I took a close look at my husband. Well, 5 years are really not to be called “always”. But for simply driving to dinner, the small village of Ulmet in Kusel is a bit far from Idar Oberstein. After our trip to Homburg, the detour matched a small and scenic way. We had no reservation and the parking lot of the Landhotel was already well visited. Unfortunately there was no table left on the terrace. We were happy to have a nice window in the restaurant. . Cosy and very well-kept farmhouse style that fits. Warm colors, the orange tones I like very, decoration of past times and comfortable seating. Here you can feel comfortable. . The menus were handed over and later we gave our order to the friendly service lady. Teinacher Mineral Water 0,75 l € 5,50 2018 Riesling dry, Weingut Mäurer, Dackenheim Pfalz. 0.1 l € 2.50 for my husband. 2018er Grauburgunder trocken, Weingut Mäurer, Dackenheim Pfalz. 0.2 l € 5,50 for me. Fine and delightful menus have been offered. But this evening we were not so hungry. I chose: Mixed organic salad plate, homemade organic raw food salads and leaf salad, ham cheese BIO tomatoes boiled BIO egg € 11.00 I ordered the ham, but the extra serving fried fresh stone mushrooms € 3.50 as a topping for the salad. We had not found any mushrooms in this dry summer (which, fortunately, changed slightly later). My husband was also pleased with the offer with fresh mushrooms and ordered: fresh mushrooms á la crème, homemade semmelknödel, BIO salad plate € 17,80 A little later, we reached a regional deficient greeting of the West Palatinate: home maker coarse liver sausage with cranberries. Greeting: Hausmacher Lewwerwoscht with cranberries Finally something other than fresh cheese or herbal cucumber, also homemade from the Felschbachhof kitchen. I told the nice employee I'd like to try. Then it remained. My husband couldn't even get through to try again. Anyone who likes these defensive sausages would certainly have been very satisfied. The fresh bread selection served for a kitchen and for my salad then met our taste again. Fresh bread Little later our dishes were served beautifully. In the deep plate my husband got 3 semmelknödel with a generous portion of stone mushrooms served in fine cream. Semmelknödel with fresh mushrooms in Rahm The mushrooms have been spiced, so the fungal aroma came through well. The dumplings nicely loose and well cooked. My husband was very happy with the servicing. Like me. Not unlike expected, I was served a colorful salad plate with crisp leaf salads and finely marinated raw food salads. A great and light vinegar oil dressing, the good ingredients enjoyed the taste buds. The fried mushrooms were served in a separate bowl and were also impeccable. Fried mushrooms Without cream, I still find the mushroom aroma more intense. The service lady was supported by a young colleague. Both very attentive and friendly. The view into the kitchen was allowed to the guests and the mood was very good there. I'm always happy when the chefs are good. The good music certainly contributed to the good mood. In the kitchen the listener’s parader “Top 1000” ran from SWR1. This week I had accidentally vacationed and wanted to miss as little as possible from this annual hit parade. I think that's why we went on the way home to hear radio on the car. I'm glad we were back here. Clear recommendation for this country guest house. BIO and Slowfood are implemented here with heart blood. The location is beautiful and despite the proximity to the federal road absolutely quiet and in the middle of the green."
