"Last Sunday we came by a little bit on a trip to the blue one. From the road there is only a simple sign of the “Kapfenhardter Mühle” without reference to a gastronomy. We were all the more adorable from the sight of the really jewellery farm in the Black Forest style, with old mill wheel and an architecturally appealing entire complex. In the mill shop next door are own products (meal, muesli, pasta to be purchased on weekdays; there is also a rap tank on the grounds! Parking is available for pleasure, some directly in front of the door. If you come with Öffis, you should drive the bus stop “Kapfenhardter Mühlen” (Kapfenhardter Mühlen), you will have to take a relatively steep path to the foot downhills (approx. 5-10 minutes). The restaurant is well furnished on the inside of bourgeois-rustic (a lot of wood and furniture in the well-kept farmhouse style and has a generously covered loggia, an open terrace, as well as a glazed area. The diverse guest rooms are also suitable for groups and larger companies. Up to the toilets (clean and modern! you have to travel a long, winding way through different acts – but everything is well signposted and accessible. When we arrived at 16:30 the small card with Vesper and mainly cold dishes (except on the cheese plate all meat- and sausage-loaded, as well as coffee and cakes and ice cream. There were fresh plum and apple cakes, as well as black forests cherry. Many guests were hoping for warm dishes, but they were all comforted at 5 pm – even with the order being placed, they had to wait so long. That didn't just seem to be a little customer-friendly. The service was a little rough and inconvenient and did not allow any requests or special requests or requests. However, this changed when there was a change of staff at around 5:00 and a more friendly team took the service. Then we had to wait about 30 minutes for the ordered food. We sat very comfortably on wooden benches in the covered outdoor area. In addition to us guests with two big, clapping dogs, which were quite tolerated. Furthermore: couples, families with several generations, day tourists, motorcyclists, cyclists. When we went about 2 hours later, the place was very good. The pair of fine roast sausages (6,20 was very spicy and was served in a fine roast sauce and with in-house mill bread. The cheese parrots (8,50 were rather tasty average, somewhat lazy and tacky, strangely served with plenty of unspoiled canned vegetables, in addition to the usual supplement salad, in which, however, the ally potato salad and a very fine and well digested cucumber salad convinced. All in all, however, a huge portion that was barely manageable. The wine choir (2,80 was very generous and had a fine perlage. On request, possible digestives were counted. The chosen Willi for 3,30 might have carried out a somewhat longer storage. Food and beverages are respected for regionality and seasonality. There are trouts from their own pond and meat from weekly slaughter. To this end selected Baden-Württembergian wines; even Heidelbeer wine (optionally also for taking away). The invoice was brought quickly and without great waiting time. We would have stayed longer. In the house you can also stay comfortably (renovated rooms in 2008, all the allergy-friendly . This place is a magnificent oasis to recover and eat in the Black Forest."
