"Found this lovely restaurant by chance. Much bigger on the inside than it look from outside, you could sit in or out but as it runs by the river we thought better to eat in to avoid the mozzies. it was furnished with typical Spanish furniture and was very clean. My husband had the best fish soup ever. It was full of fish and shellfish with a lovely glossy looking soup. I had an enormous asparagus salad. Afterwards we both had a lamb dish. This had been cooked in the oven with herbs and spices and was delightful. Unusually it was served with layers of potato and a vegetable garnish. The restaurant was very old, I think they were trying to tell us that it was built in the 1500s. They don't have a great many English visitors and although they are very helpful I would take a Spanish food dictionary to make sense of the extensive menu. We didn't have dessert but other people did and they looked big enough to serve at least 2 or maybe 3 people so you are warned!"
