I recently visited Number 1 in Bound Brook and I must say, it's a hidden gem! A Tucked away on a quiet street, this cozy bar offers a delightful experience. Exceptional Service from Antonio, Steven, Mike and John. The highlight of my experience was the exceptional service provided by Antonio. From the moment I sat down, Antonio made me feel welcomed and comfortable. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. Also, Steven was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Friendly neighborhood bar. Great vibe! Has food, music and a pool table. There's definitely a regular customer vibe to this place too. Ya gotta respect the locals baby and wait your turn to shoot some stick lol. The cheesesteak was really delicious, And wings. Bartender was super personable. We'll be back! The atmosphere here leaves much to be desired. When you walk in, you immediately feel unwelcome. I had to wait quite a while to get a drink, and the place wasn’t even crowded. The bartenders weren’t friendly at all, especially a guy named Mike, who definitely lacks a customer-friendly attitude. It feels like this is more of a local bar that doesn't cater well to first-time visitors.
I had a good time just chillin with a friend ! I only got wings and fries but I can tell they were made with love or at least a strong care. Fries were crinkle cut and had a nice crisp to them. The wings were buffalo but they had plenty of choices for sauce. I only had one drink because I was driving but it was good didn’t feel shorted . Thanks for the kindness.

Wow! A hidden gem! Great wings! Lots of good flavors. The burgers are great! So are the drinks! Friendly bartenders and folks hanging out. Plenty of seats at the bar and tables. Games on TV were a plus. Good prices as well and generous pours. I'll be back!
Nice comfortable small bar. Nice guy serving. Burger was 8/10 if we’re talking good quality and cooked simply with decent timing.Would go again! Parking: Only a few spots so hopefully it’s not full in front. Either way there more spots next door.
The food was good, but the service was just average. This place is quite popular with the locals. If you're not from the area, you might want to keep that in mind.
