We have dined at the restaurant for lunch before and enjoyed our meal, although it was not exceptional, it was above average. However, our experience with the takeaway was disappointing. The Sweet and Sour chicken we ordered was extremely soggy, almost as if it had been reheated in the microwave. After just one bite, we had to throw it away, saying goodbye to $15. Additionally, the Singapore noodles were lacking any meat or seafood that is typically included, essentially just noodles with curry powder. Another $15 wasted. I went to a small Chinese cafe at Varsity Lakes after purchasing a deal on Living Social. The deal included an appetizer, main dish, and dessert, but unfortunately, none of it was edible. The dim sum was cold, the lemon chicken had a jarred lemon sauce, the rice tasted bad, and the sweet and sour pork was tough with undercooked vegetables. I didn't eat any of it because I was afraid of getting sick from the undercooked food. The banana fritter was served cold without syrup, which was a disappointment. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, but the food quality was very poor. I would not recommend this Chinese cafe as the food was extremely subpar.
I had the unfortunate to see the kitchen of this restaurant from the personal entry at a few places after I had eaten there. dirty. I do not know why the health inspectors of the local government have not shut down this place. they smoke in the kitchen and there are hundreds of eggs that are kept at room temperature and above room temperature directly next to hot gas nozzles! talk about salmonella waiting for it. the food I was served was infertile and the young one was there when I asked for my money back. because the opposite is filled with university students, the owners/operators think they can get away with serving slope sad. really sad.

we were recommended this place, but was bitterly disappointed. first, the chicken and sweet maiss soup was fed with about 1 teaspoon of hay, barely mais and tasted like dirty feed water. the sweet and acidic pork looked microshaft, pork was. smart and not crispy and crispy and the sauce was bland. the fried duck with lemon sauce was so bad that we threw a mouthful and the rest in the mull. the prawn toast tasted like garlic and looked like he had been fried a few times deep. the best was the fried rice. it looked and tasted ok. so they do one themselves please and give this place a large pitch. surprised by some of the previous comments. yes, they can look into the kitchen and it looks pretty messy, but for me chaos and dirt and two different things. the food I had was very nice and I'm back to try more recipes. this evaluation while I wait outside. knödel were beautiful, although perhaps one was sitting that caused the thicker connections to go a bit hard. bark meat and Chinese mushroom dish was excellent. be very disappointed by Chinese options at the gold coast so far only yum cha robina is a more regular. Hopefully, this will be another one of them that can hold resistance.
I have had multiple disappointing experiences at 101 Kitchen and have decided not to return. I have tried their Asian chicken curry on four occasions - one was good, one was average, and two were bad. The consistency in quality is lacking, as each time I ordered the same dish, it tasted different. The curry was noticeably watered down and tasted like curry powder mixed with water, vegetables, and chicken. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is not up to my standards, further deterring me from dining there.
Popular chinese restaurant that does a lot of takeaways as well. Lovely lady serving and keeping up with orders. We sat and had our tea, and got our leftovers to take home, no problem. Good value for money, worth a visit.

The restaurant is 1 mins walk from my holiday accommodation. Closed at 10:00pm, super convenience. Chinese food tastes good, price is reasonable. Recommended.
