1/4 Pound Big Burger

Well, I needed to rewrite this review. A year. I was probably there a few dozen times last year. It's the best place to get a hamburger. And the careful handling and pride that goes into every burger on this landmark in Martinez never lets you down. There are some good places, but this place has the best burger. Or if I taste double bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions. I know we have many city workers who are on the way to work in downtown Martinez. Well, that's on the way and it's much better tasting than any fast food restaurant and it's about the same price. Fast food is not so cheap anymore. I don't know why I'm still calling her. Great food! Waitress was so nice, burger was fabulous, burrito as big as your head (well, maybe not quite, but huge and steaming hot), philly cheese steak sandwich was great and like others have mentioned, some of the best fries I have had anywhere. Cute little place, so glad google gave us this when we needed a quick pop off of 680 on our way from San Jose to Bliss!

Found this place by searching burgers on my way home to Sacramento. Extensive menu, excellent burgers and service. Fries were timed to come out as an appetizer, grill master was on point. Place is clean. Wish it was closer to home I'd eat here a lot. Will make a point to stop anytime I'm in the area.

The best diner in Martinez. Quality food at an affordable price and an old diner taste from the grill. Staff/service are always very kind and accommodating. Quite an exceptional place and I'm so glad they're still around.

If you work at Mrc for a turnaround especially nights. You eat here. That's all I have to say. Good price and good food.
