That was a treat for Mother's Day. First, I was not pre-ordered for asking me to confirm my booking 4 times, but not even I was asked to pre-order. Then we waited 55 minutes for food. I've never had beef slices so thin. I had two discs folded into the fork for two bites. A piece of broccoli, 3 carrots, 2 small dry flints of cauliflower and a very limp Yorkshire pudding all drown in the severity. Dessert a sliver of cheesecakes the size of one of my fingers. I was speechless at the meetings. Never again!
Fabulous evening for our group of 12. Zena was so helpful and really attentive to our food requirements with great communication and the food platters provided were excellent and well presented. Staff were friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to make our evening special. The venue has a lovely ambiance, would highly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you all so much!
We had a wonderful Sunday roast here. Everything was nicely cooked and it was obvious that care was taken. The beef was cut thin and beautiful and delicate. I had Eton Chaos like a cheesecake and it was nice and easy with a delicious biscuit base. I would definitely recommend this little jewel and would come back here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Very recommended.
This restaurant in Plymouth serves possibly the best roast dinner. Every item on the plate was incredibly delicious; I could have eaten it all day! The dessert was also lovely, and the atmosphere of the place was very welcoming.

Great little place for excellent food. Good atmosphere, great roast dinner, pleasant staff and nice piped music! A must on a cold winters day! Must give it a try during the week, to check out the rest of the menu!
Perhaps the best frying dinner in Plymouth, everything on the plate was so delicious, would have eaten it all day!!!!!! The dessert was also beautiful and the place had a really nice feeling for it
Another beautiful roast and we were well supervised by Zena and her beautiful team. If someone is looking for a good place for a frying dinner, then it can highly recommend 1620 as it is delicious!
I knew the roast would be lovely as I've been before but the staff were super friendly and polite. Look forward to going again. My dog was also well looked after with a biscuit and bowl of water.

Lovely restaurant and always consistently good service with fab food, can tell they, use high quality products. Hospitality led by the owner is top notch. Highly recommend.
