1665 Brasserie - Réservation de table

Found this location online for tea, website states that reservations are “recommended to avoid disappointment”. Looking at google the establishment was not busy so we stopped in, when we arrived the workers were carrying items up and down the stairs bumping into everyone without a care. At the host stand we were informed that all afternoon tea sittings must me made 24 hours in advance. We left the establishment as this was not the direction on their website. Last minute booking for Saturday and got accommodated with a wonderful table for 2 , by the window, nice breeze and great views. Whispering Angel makes sense as there’s a bar outside as such. Prawn cocktail starters are a regular and thoroughly recommend. Steak was ok. Let down slightly by in attentive service from the team. Not an issue , yet, as been many times before.. so do pay a visit for an amazing riverside atmosphere! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

I never leave reviews but this place is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful views, food, and I never comment on this but the staff were absolutely fantastic especially Dimitris the Manager. Thank you so much for making our time special. It was a perfect place for my mum Elena’s birthday, and I saw many other special occasions taking place. Steak was so raw that I sent it back. The second one was equally worse. The same was true for three others of our company. Rest of the food was OK-ish. This place (posh pub) is in a great location although the food wasn’t very good but go for the river views you won’t be disappointed Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
