Good deli this spot has been up on hillside Ave for decades. I have stop in there numerous times over the years for soda's and snacks etc. I even brought a pair of head phones from this deli.I have to admit I never tried there sandwiches or hot food. But I will give yall a update review on the food.I also use to take the F train local that's literally right out side of the deli. The subway is attached to the deli ,cool for any one coming home from work or going to work via the F train . you can get some breakfast ,lunch or dinner right in side this deli.Thats one of the reasons this deli separates its self from other dell's besides the food. The Chicken over Rice was packed very poorly, causing it to I spill out into the bag, and the containers were crushed. They need stronger containers for food if the items are going to be for delivery. None of the food tasted fresh, and had a bad aftertaste. None of the special instructions were followed. Most could not finish their food and it had to be thrown away. Very poor experience that makes me feel like never using DoorDash again.
Oh my God, Hillside Deli Snack Bar is certainly rather darn cool. The location is unbeatable. Our order came out quickly. I really liked the service as well, they are very friendly and attentive. I just wish I lived closer so I could be a regular at Hillside Deli Snack Bar.
