The Chicken over Rice was packed very poorly, causing it to I spill out into the bag, and the containers were crushed. They need stronger containers for food if the items are going to be for delivery. None of the food tasted fresh, and had a bad aftertaste. None of the special instructions were followed. Most could not finish their food and it had to be thrown away. Very poor experience that makes me feel like never using DoorDash again.
This restaurant used to serve delicious philly cheesesteaks in the past, but it seems like that was only when their previous chef was working there. I gave it another chance recently, but unfortunately, my philly sandwich was terrible - the chicken was stale, unclean, and lacking in seasoning.
The Chicken Cutlet Hero and Chop Cheese Burger on a Hero were both so beautifully made, and packed nicely. Great flavor, great blend of textures. It's not just another deli. They got their sandwiches down to a science.
The restaurant has new management and cooks, and the food doesn't taste the same as it did before, especially the chicken Philly. Réservez une table maintenant
The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Our only suggestion is to add a bit of salt to the fries next time. That's all.
Been coming here since I was 20 years old. I'm now 46. Even under different management, still some great sandwiches.
I got the Honey Maple Turkey on a Hero with American cheese, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. It was delicious.
I love the 179 Street Deli for about 20 years. They always had the Deli's that I loved Réservez une table maintenant
