We were recommended this bad by a local, and it didn't disappoint at all. Indeed, we visited it twice during our holidays. Our friend told us the calamari are outstanding, and it is absolutely true, one of the best I have eaten. The octopus is also a great choice. We would also recommend the anchovies with bread with no hesitation. On the second day, we combined the tapas with one of those large sandwiches. Amazing choice. The only dish that I wouldn't recommend, of those among I tried, is eggs with chips. It was supposed to be properly mixed, but they served fried egg together with chips. And the egg was so fried that you weren't able to mix it as usual. All in all, a great place to taste C...
La primera vez que fuimos a pesar de una mala recepción, gran falta de simpatia y amabilidad, el servicio fue muy amable y profesional y la comida muy buena y bien en cuanto a precio/calidad. Salimos bastante satisfechos en general por lo cual volvimos otro día para repetir. La segunda no pudimos entrar por falta de sitio. Eso en sí no sería un problema pero la atención recibida fue muy desagradable y eso si fue un problema porque decirte sin mirarte que vuelvas en 1 hora pero no te anota en lista de espera al igual que hizo con los que iban delante nuestro como mínimo es un desprecio. Una pena porque cuando pasas ese filtro, el resto está bien y la puntuación sería mayor.
Great atmosphere and lovely food with good views of the beach and bay. A great place to watch the world go by. Food was well cooked, and tasty. A good selection. It was always busy every time we went past too. There was a cancer walk on the day we went and some of the staff were a little distracted by it meaning some items we ordered didn't come out correctly but it was soon fixed by Carmen without any problems. So it didn't affect our opinions. Carmen was excellent, good at her job and had really good humour. Will definitely go back.
Situated in the old port, this bar is popular and busy through the day. It's the sort of place that puts out a spontaneous invitation when you just thought you were going out for a gentle stroll through the town. A stop facing the sea is always inviting.

Un dia frio, ventoso y lluvioso de agosto, encontramos este bar, muy muy bien. Tapas, bocatas, elaborado con gracia, todo bueno. El personal agradable y relación calidad precio, bien Para repetir! Recomendable!

Típico de la Escala. Vistas hermosas a la playa y el mar. Toldos en terraza para el sol de verano. La comida no es nada especial pero hace las veces. En otoño me gusta más. Hay menos gente
Bien, han tardado en atendernos para la mesa, luego el servicio ha sido rápido, los platos un poco escasos pero el precio no ha,sido caro en general bien.
