We visited a function and stayed overnight at the restaurant. The pub itself is charming and the beer selection, including some great options from Elland on tap, is top-notch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The function room was enjoyable and well-equipped, though the location of some of the rooms could be better. However, each room has its own private bar and facilities, making it perfect for hosting a private party. The rooms may not be spacious and there was some noise leakage between them, but they were still comfortable and well-appointed. beautiful place to stay. room was very comfortable, had a brilliant night sleep. we had tee in the beer garden and it was nice, the steak pee was filled with meat and was delicious, man decided to hühnerburger, who was again beautiful. very attentive, (a bit of me will miss the table service for drinks when the pubs open). breakfast in a beautiful bright environment cooked again to perfection, even went to the effort to ask if my speck was cooked enough before serving. personal again friendly attentive. I would recommend to everyone, no aspekt could be our view after error-free
It is quiet some time since I ate at time at the Pub and i have to say the rump steak was beautiful, thick, juicy, tender rare, cooked to perfection, full of flavour just how steak should be. It was...accompanied with chips crispy and firm, grilled tomato and a splendid caesar salad... The red wine was not bad, not full bodied but a little fruity number with a pepper after taste. I have no problem in recommending this meal to any steak lover. The two girls who were front of house where happy, smiling and chatty just right for this pub..
Went for Sunday lunch after an invigorating walk in the local area (some great walks and scenery close by) We had a two course lunch off the set menu and a friend had a light bite. The place was warm and welcoming and the staff...were friendly and efficient. The food was nicely presented, good portion size and very tasty. There were fish and vegetarian options as well as the standard Sunday roast. There were also a variety of drinks behind the bar. We were all very happy. I would definitely recommend. I wanted to take a photo, but the food was so delicious that I forgot until my plate was empty. The Sunday roast was amazing and I highly recommend it, with friendly staff, quick service, and high-quality food. The restaurant caters well to picky eaters like me and other family members. Everything was delicious and there was nothing left for the dog to eat.
I made a reservation at the pub for my family and me to celebrate an 18th birthday dinner. The bartenders were delightful and we all had a fantastic time. The food was exceptional, especially the chicken pizza I ordered which was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be returning for another visit.
many thanks to the the pub for my first meal this year fantastic. meal was nice, served by friendly and helpful staff. not too icey and we didn't feel that we had to release the table after eating. yorkshire pudding huge and bark meat. very delicate. it was a beautiful experience.
