Went June 2022. This street is littered with restaurants all within walking distance. Paid parking lot and some street parking available. For browsers most of the restaurants have their menus posted outside for review. Went here based on the menu selection and reviews. Seated promptly without a reservation. Nice decor! Our waiter was very attentive. This place has some outdoor seating, bar seating in the front area and quieter dining area in the back forlarger groups. I got the southern fried chicken dinner $27 2 pieces of French cut fried chicken, 1 cornbread, mashed potatoes, green beans and delicious white gravy. It was DELICIOUS. Great food, service and drinks. Hubby and I went here for a date night on a Tuesday. It was busy but we had a reservation and got seated right away. Staff was in incredibly friendly and prompt. Our server, Reggie, was always checking in on us and we never waited long for anything we ordered. All the food we had was great- we shared a pear salad, fried green tomatoes, tenderloin tacos, short rib, smoked salmon, goat cheese raviolis and had the fried cheesecake fordessert. These all came from the small plates side of the menu but they also offer entree sized selections. Went for a quick Sunday afternoon escape, but I think I discovered my new favorite restaurant! We got a couple of glasses of wine and their smoked salmon crostini....then I started looking at the rest of the menu! Everything looks so amazing! We're definitely going back for dinner. If you sit outside, there are a lot of cars slowly driving by and a fair amount of exhaust fumes. I would recommend making reservations. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was theservice. The hostess forgot to give us menus and our waitress was so busy, she forgot to come back for the check. Other than that, great experience! I'm hopeful for an upgrade to 5 stars on my next visit!
Loyal Tavern has a great location in the heart of historic Canton Street. It is a great spot to watch a game and enjoy some food drink. The food is pretty good too. I recommend you try anything with the brisket. The beer selection is probably thebest of all the restaurants on Canton Street with some uncommon selections for the craft beer drinker. It's usually not toocrowded and a seat can be obtained pretty quickly. If you have a group that wants to cheer for their team over dinner anddrinks it's definitely worth checking out. Skip this place. This restaurant doesn?t go an extra inch for its customers. Chef refused to split wings into two flavors and the restaurant charged for extra cheese for the soft pretzel app. FYI, it comes with a shot glass sized serving. The mediocre,overpriced food and a lazy chef is a deal breaker for me. Literally every restaurant on Canton is better than Loyal. I live inRoswell and come to dine at least once a week. Not returning.
Excellent American Food For starters we enjoyed pimento cheese and crackers along with fried green tomatoes all of which were outstanding. For entrées we had a variety including the jerk pork rib pasta special which was tremendous and a very large portion. Others had steak with twice baked potato which was also cooked to perfection. Really solid place for brunch. Shout out to the staff who were welcoming, attentive and so friendly. Truly the staff made the meal. We had a reservation at 1130 on a Sunday. Easily accommodated stroller. We ordered a cocktail and a beer on tap. The CuCu cucumber vodka cocktail was tasty. The sandwiches were all good. Overall we had a very nice brunch. $60 for two people for brunch.
Ate at LT last night. I had the steak tips which were excellent. Cooked medium rare to perfection. My wife had the fish and chips which was very good. Service was excellent. Manager visited our table to ensure we were completely satisfied. Which wewere. Would definitely return. Réservez une table maintenant
