2 Guys 1 Pit Bbq Catering

We were looking for a place we hadn't been, and chose this one. First impression: clean and friendly, and well-lighted with a slight sports bar-ish feel.We ordered at the counter. Wifey chose the two-meat plate with moist-cut brisket and chicken; I got a BBQ baked potato with moist brisket. That was rounded out by green beans, baked beans, peach cobbler, sweet tea, and a John Daly (vodka and pink lemonade). We sat, they served.I have to say, everything was pretty good. The only thing we agreed we would change is to have just a little less fat on the brisket. Also, I belatedly realized that I should have left the sauce off of my potato and instead used the sauce containers on the table to bet...

This was our first time at the restaurant, and I was a bit puzzled when I saw how few people were there. The service and atmosphere were excellent, but my meal left much to be desired. I ordered the rib plate along with a loaded baked potato, broccoli bites, and two drinks, totaling just under $53. When our food arrived, I was disappointed to find that the ribs were dry and no larger than 3 inches each. The fries were good, but the mac and cheese was completely flavorless—how can you mess up mac and cheese? Unfortunately, they managed to do just that! To add insult to injury, the broccoli bites were cold. I cannot recommend this place, and I won’t be returning.

I visited this weekend for dinner. We got a single beef rib, the fried cheese curds, the cheesy corn, and a spicy sausage sandwich. The beef rib was huge and my fiancé said it was good. The cheese curds were good too they had a really thick breading on them that was tasty. I liked the cheesy corn, it kind of reminded me of creamed corn with cheese. The spicy sausage was very good! They also had 2 different sauces on the table, regular bbq and spicy. I liked both and thought the spicy had a perfect kick to it. For sure recommend to try this place for some good bbq!

However, the food was exceptional. The brisket was incredibly juicy and flavorful, and the corn and sweet potato casserole were delightful. So far, this has been my favorite place to eat. The meats are fantastic, and the sides are wonderful. I also had the peach cobbler, but I forgot to snap a photo before diving in. Overall, my experience sitting alone was a bit awkward, but that may just be due to me being new to the area. Nonetheless, it truly is a wonderful restaurant, and I would definitely come back and order again! Réservez une table maintenant

I ordered 2 potatoes one with lean meat one with moist meat they was really good but not labeled they look the same we couldn't tell them apart and I asked for a side of meat but didn't get that either I left a tip even tho i did drive through drive through just to get home and my order was wrong and not labeled this is the my only issue. I shouldn't have to hope my order is correct or be confused on who is who when I trying to feed my family(get it together )2g1p

Food was good. Service was good and quiet comfortable atmosphere since being midday. However the portion sizes definitely not worth the price of the food. We were told that the baked potatos were about the size of a dinner plate. Not even close. Maybe half the size. The brisket was slightly overcooked and parts of the potato was still hard. The staff though was friendly. Maybe will try again another time, but not sure.

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! I ordered the moist brisket plate, which came with baked beans and cheesy corn, and everything was cooked to perfection. The hostess was charming and welcoming. There’s plenty of seating, a spacious bar, and numerous TVs to enjoy. I especially appreciated the display featuring a collection of police patches. They truly excel at making fantastic BBQ!

My husband and I have been ordering from 2 guys 1 pit weekly for the last month and it never disappoints! This is our favorite BBQ place in Houston. Love that it’s family owned and that they support the local community. Portions sizes are large, price is good, and service is fast. Highly recommend! Great people and service. The locations is clean with good seating. All the meats were excellent, beef rib was perfectly done. Their coleslaw is perfect and crisp cold and snappy!

Friendliest staff and the food is unbelievably good.. so many choices I couldn't figure out what to order it was all so good. This place has gotten a customer for life !
