Terrible experience. A regular customer there. A friend of mine went to order a drink and the bartender called us b*tches because we were being ignored at the bar and said excuse me.She then said she wanted to fight us and called us all b*tches while we walked out the door. We asked for a manger upon returning and were asked what we wanted them to do about it and to leave. This was after I witnessed another costumer in the building have an issue with the same bartender and make a complaint. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never enter this establishment again. I used to enjoy 201 Tavern for years, but I am disappointed to see how the customer service has declined recently. I will be avoiding this restaurant in the future. As someone from a time when it was considered unacceptable for a server to chat with friends instead of attending to customers, I was frustrated to wait over 20 minutes for my order to be taken while the server conversed with two separate friend groups outside the restaurant. When I tried to address the issue, I received a dismissive response and no apology. By the time I decided not to place an order as the kitchen was closing soon, I realized my frustrations were not acknowledged, making me feel like this behavior was acceptabl...
I really like the atmosphere here and the way the interior was set up. It looks a lot nicer than most little bar/restaurants. The coolest part is the glass in the back that shows the outside and the stairs. Gives it a look that you don't see in basically any other place. The service is good. Nothing special but it gets the job done. The food (as usual for me at these types of places) is average. Actually.. Oddly enough the chicken tenders weren't even that good. I would recommend not spending too much here unless you are into the kind of bar food they have. On a plus, they have pull tabs!
I decided to take my sister out for lunch and we both had a great experience at 201 Tavern. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap, which had perfect portions of ingredients and was wrapped in a soft, fresh tortilla. The onion rings were also excellent. The staff was very welcoming and the air conditioning was a relief from the hot summer days. Overall, I was completely satisfied with our visit to 201 Tavern. Yay!

I love my quest for finding the perfect Ruben sandwich, so I order it at most restaurants I go to for lunch. 201 Tavern has the closest thing I've tasted. Luckily I work only a block away, so I have eaten it often. Side that with their Tavern Chips, and you can't go wrong. Great sandwich and cordial, attentive staff. Highly recommend!
I have now come to the 201 Tavern for three visits. My last visit was with a banking customer . We were there for three hours. The visit was so nice, but most importantly I took her to a place where the food is amazing. I'll be back...birthday, on 1-18 next year, with the fam! Peace Out and Pray 4 Peace!
It was great to see Shane Martin playing his music. And the crowd dancing along to it and I even got invited to join I did. The food was great! Perfectly cooked Burger and tater tots! I will be coming back!

I visited 201 on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. a Viking game was just up, so it was very entertaining to watch (it was against them.
Very busy on bingo night. Our young male waiter was very attentive. Wings were good. Bingo was great. Very convenient parking.
