My husband and I thought of a glass of champagne last night. We were warmly welcomed on arrival as our Kovid certificates were checked. We decided to sit at the bar because the bar was busy. The bar food looked very delicious, but we went to dinner. There is a great atmosphere and the staff was amazing: helpful, friendly and professional. My husband wanted to **** something, so Barman gave him the options. We chose the olives. We realized we had to pay for them, but when I saw the bill, I was shocked that they cost CHF 14.00. For a few olives that have a combination of if not raw, but almost, garlic, 2 tiny onions and a small piece of chili. I would definitely recommend this place to eat drinks and something. But check the prices for each Bar Nibbles. This is extremely expensive for some olives.
Great dinner menu for an OK price that looks at the quality of food, many flavors as some Peruvian-Asian influences. Fantastic Amuses Bouche. Loved the ceviche with leche de tigre and the pigs/tuna belly shell. Obviously, they have a wide selection of wines, even if those we wanted were no longer available. Service could be something more professional. Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant.
This super-cool wine bar and bistró is among Zurich's top rated and I can see why. The food is delicious, the place inviting, sober and sophisticated, yet cozy. The wine selection is wide and interesting, but when it comes to making all this work in a clever choreography, nothing beats the human factor. Thanks a lot people at Mövenpick for a lovely evening.
