wow. if I could leave 100 stars, I would. my wife and I celebrated our 17th anniversary and the moment when we came into the door, we felt welcome. from the host to the owner, this place is the pointed place. my wife ordered the white fish and it was amazing and I got the ribeye that was perfectly cooked. the cocktails were also at points. we are not out of the opposite and did not know that the holy joseph closes everything at 9:30 so that we decided to return to 221 and we were welcomed back and sit right in front of the fire so that my wife and I can celebrate with the wonderful ambiente. the staff went beyond our expectations and I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely...
Excellent venue. Excellent service. Excellent food! We stopped in for a Freedom Boat Club members party and we were absolutely delighted with everything. The restaurant is a few blocks south of the drawbridge, but for sure within walking distance of everyone and everything. The party was upstairs, which featured a very cool bar that looks like a snapshot of 1936 Chicago. The food was beyond delicious with fried cauliflower, spinach artichoke dip and lots of other appetizers. It was raining when we were there, but they have a very cool rooftop lounge overlooking St Joe and downtown. This would be a great place for date night or even a business meeting. We will be back!
After our birthday dinner reservation at a neighboring restaurant was cancelled without prior notice, the owner of this fine establishment gave us a table out of the kindness of his heart despite the restaurant being completely booked for the evening. The dinner did not disappoint. Our party reached a unanimous consensus it was the best meal we’d eaten in a long time. The orange cedar salmon was succulent and decadent. From a menu filled with delicious meals to unparalleled service to a kind owner that goes the extra mile for his patrons, this is a must stop in St. Joseph.
steak house whisky bar with handmade cocktails. enjoyable; elderberry gin tonic with lemon (I missed the limette but it was good) brussel sprouts perfect with speck honey scott egg was on point calamari was okay, I asked for a side of comeback sauce instead of the cocktail sauce house caesar (no cryons, add tomatoes) was quite good alittle lite on the dressing prime ripe dip deliciously melted sugar topping. I brought my family here last night because of the 14th birthday dinner of my life, in which his choice is. 3 surf (lummer) and turfs (2 filet and 1 new york strip, and two steak entrees (1 ribeye, and 1 filet) . all were ordered and very well cooked. the waitress and the staff were very polite as they were visiting earlier. they were very busy, but the waitress routinely checked us. the chic cookie was as always a hotter! another great experience, and I'm sure we're back!
my man and I just found 221 main on tripadvisor. we are very picky about our steaks and how they are cooked and this place was amazing! prime rib and ribeye were on the spot! tiffany was our waitress and was there! she was very attentive and great at reviewing on us to make sure we were always drunk and happy! I wouldn't have asked for a better waitress! we come back and bring our friends!
there should be a 10 start review. wow just woke me. they bleeded me away with their amazing prime rib. Friday and Saturday evenings I think is their special night. it was the best tsartest prime rib I ever had and the biggest. try the brussel sprouts which are just as delicious. they will not be disappointed here. I can't expect to come back soon.
Excellent local steakhouse with great outdoor seating and awesome food! Our kids loved the steaks, they had a rather extensive set of gluten-free options (one of our group has celiac disease), and were able to accommodate us on short notice even with a big group!
