La nourriture était exceptionnelle. Notre serveuse a dit qu'elle était la sœur de l'un des propriétaires et qu'elle était très sympathique, énergique et un serveur merveilleux. C'était frustrant lors de l'enregistrement avec l'hôtesse parce que j'avais spécifiquement choisi une table extérieure dans ma réservation et parce que quelqu'un dans mon groupe est immuno compromis, c'était très important et nous voulions être près d'un radiateur. Rien de tout cela n'a été arrangé au début et bien que j'aie répété à plusieurs reprises que nous devions être à l'extérieur, j'ai été accueilli avec des réponses à propos de l'offre d'une table à l'intérieur. J'ai dû demander à quelqu'un d'essuyer la table...
Food was fresh, nicely prepared, and tasty. Service (Caroline) was excellent. It was a very cold night and the restaurant interior was QUITE COLD as well! Made the dining itself a bit uncomfortable. Fingers were white and numb! Perhaps 224 should look into a possible issue with their heating system. It is difficult and not very pleasant to eat with coats and gloves on! 224 WAS one of our favorite local restaurants...will try there again in warmer weather!
3 friends out for dinner in our neighborhood spot Friday after Thanksgiving. Very enjoyable spot in the dining area with attentive service and great dinners including the short rib dish and pasta bolognese. The Italian Chop Salad and Grilled Romaine Salad were tasty as well. We’ll be back!
Wait staff was extremely friendly. The muscles and oysters were fantastic. The pasta left a bit to be desired, but we got the on the server did not recommend. Good food but a bit overpriced, however the service was top notch.

Best pork chop I’ve had in Boston! Meals were incredible, service was attentive, great ambiance. Perfect date night spot! I’ll be adding this to my list of recommendations for when fam is in town for sure!
We ordered pork chop and chicken piccata and both were very tasty. Our waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. I was pleasantly surprised by this neighborhood gem.
I've eaten here about 6 times. Food is outstanding! The service is always good but last night my entire group (5) felt it was great.
My boyfriend and I go to 224 on special occasions a few times a year and we love the food and ambience. 100% recommend!
