If it makes it easier,
257 Home Kitchen is on
257 Rowe st,Eastwood
Follow where the lines to get in is usually a good indicator of a good restaurant but that thinking failed me once in Burwood
This time I'm not sure ???? what to think of this theory
At least we didn't feel cramp in here and the waiter keep coming to fill up our water glasses
The wait for the food was spread out.
The drunken chicken came out first, the others in my group said this is organic chicken as it's a little tough,it had bones with it. I felt like it has a hassle eating this tough chicken and trying to eat the little bits of meat stuck to the bone and bones just made me lose enjoyment from this dish. It's a shame because the stronger flavour (than other places) is a nice change and I wouldn't get this again
The lamb cumin, though there was a chilli ???? picture on the menu wasn't that spicy which is a good thing. Cumin and lamb go together and this dish shows why! The blend of flavours with the onion is a must try dish though a little oily
I was expecting more from the boiled dumpling,it was just a bit too plain for me.
The pan fried dumplings were a little better
The stir fried bean sprouts with mushrooms was nice though not much mushrooms in the dish
Prices are more than other similar restaurants
We did look around and people were ordering the fish and hotpot, maybe we should of chosen those dishes
A bit of hit and miss here
