For those using public transportation, make sure to arrive by bus and get off at Lüscherz, Dorf . Do not arrive by train as the station is really far from the village! This is an unassuming village restaurant, but its attention to detail and the quality produce used have made it regionally quite well known and brought about the award of 13 out of 20 on the Gault-Millaut scale. They work mainly with local produce and fish...from the nearby lake, some dishes are traditional and some are quite up to date. The filet de perche or Eglifilets baked in a batter and served with tartar sauce are a swiss classic and I have naver been surved such a light, classy, tasty version. we think in this restaurant for a lunch break during the trip through Switzerland. Unfortunately, we were appalled to see that the staff, besides a disinfectant bottle at the entrance, did not wear masks, they were not the 1.5m distance between them and their...customers and the toilets were not at all disinfected. in the middle of Covid-19 and given their high prices, I am shocked that this restaurant does not care about the health of their customers and their employees. I challenged the chef about the situation and she said: “You didn’t have to!” I will never come back! even a dark place has more safety precautions than this restaurant. that's not true.
absolutely excellent restaurant. we were here before a week. everything is up. the staff is so friendly, the appetizers and the main thing were of the highest quality, as the wein from twann. the prizes are also ok if they are not here, they go. we will definitely go back.

I don't give five stars easy, so it's gotta be good. service very well trained staff and hostess. eating was just great. I am lactose intolerant and the menu has been adjusted without delay. Thank you. one of my top meals to eat.
