Firstly, I would like to mention that I had some trouble trying to make a reservation for a party of six. I attempted to do so online and called the restaurant twice, but both times my reservation was not found. This issue needs to be addressed promptly. Additionally, there should be a host or hostess at the entrance to greet and seat guests upon arrival. It was chaotic as people entered not knowing where to go. The staff seemed overwhelmed trying to juggle multiple tasks, with the cook also serving food and another staff member doubling as a bartender. I recently attended a brunch event featuring bottomless mimosas and karaoke. While I enjoyed the karaoke, I found it to be a bit disorganized. The food was average, but portions were small for the price. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was disappointed to only receive 5 small shrimp on my plate. The seasoning was lacking, so I had to add extra salt and pepper. My friend ordered the oxtails, but was disappointed to receive only 2 fatty oxtails with little meat. Our server, Chinae, was excellent - friendly, attentive, and always smiling. It's worth noting that gratuity is included on the bill automatically. If I were to return, it would only be for the bottomless mimosas.
I visited this restaurant about 5 months ago and never got around to writing a review, but it was excellent. The place is great for eating out, with fantastic service and delicious food. I highly recommend this place. If it were closer to me, I would go there all the time, but unfortunately I live in East Orlando, so it's a bit far for me. Still, it was a great experience.
Can you please tell me the location of the restaurant? I hope it is near the theater, as I believe the West Oaks Mall has been struggling and feels empty and eerie. I walked through the mall recently and it was a strange experience. So, where exactly is this Cafe located? And is it open all the time or only at certain hours?
