I’m convinced 5 Burros has the best frozen margaritas in Queens. I went around late brunch time on the weekend and had great service. The food looked and tasted amazing. Definitely one of my favorites in the neighborhood but you’ll have a harder time enjoying it when its later in the day or weekends at night because it gets crazy busy so service might be slower.
So I’ve been coming to 5 burros for over 5years and I LOVEEEE THIS PLACE !! The best tacos in NY hands down !! 10/10 highly recommend!! The frozen margaritas definitely get the job done . If you can do more than two your a trooper lol . It’s small and cute . I always enjoy my time when I’m here . Come early because it gets packed fast !
First time visiting this Forest Hills staple and it didn’t disappoint. I had the stuffed peppers a ‘michelada’, both were delicious! Food was fresh and tasty. The drinks were great quality and the ambience was lively but not too much. Service was also very good. Overall a great first impression that’s left me wanting to go back.
5 burros is always a great time.Oh my god Chef Jaime has outdone himself.Tonight I had the mussels with garlic and white.Soo good. Of course my bartender Tim is awesome and a rockstar. Drinks are solid and food is authentic and spot on. One small knock, they desperately need an IPA on tap or bottle/can. Excellent service by hostess and staff. Hostess went head and shoulders above to seat us on a busy Friday night.
Food is bomb, Service is what you get at a super busy local spot. Atmosphere is what you get for going to a loud roudy spot. Food is BOMB!!!!! FIRE
I love to come here for an enchilada, a cocktail and the jukebox! Go see Carlos at the bar, he always has something funny to say!
