a weekend visit to melbourne with accommodation in a small toorak hotel found us (my dame and I) must eat in unknown area. After we were on the malvern road, we left ourselves on 505, seemingly a pub restaurant, seemed to have a...bit atmosphere and when it was about ordering food that advised staff, there could be a delay because they were only taken over the week before and were unexpectedly busy. the late has happened, but the great young staff has informed us with excuses and even offered a refund (unnecessary because it had been from the beginning at the front it was not so long, time to enjoy a drink first). eating was good, and the culture/approach seemed very good. they get my vote a...
this part of what the bush inn had a whole series of quick changes in seating, decor and style of food. I was for a meal, but I think that was the previous version. a group of us meet there. at night the week to get for a drink. I'm no longer sure if they're happy hour, but last tmr they didn't do the weep at us so we just ordered from the menu. a glass white wine is in the rule $11-12, which seems a little steep for the venue. it is close so is good for us in winter, but we will probably move when the weather is warming up and we do not make it a little further travel. the personal is very pleasant.
Two of us had lunch there and loved the place. Great decor ambiance. Great service with a very friendly waitress although I have to say we were the only customers to begin with. We each an entree and a main course with every dish...delicious and ample. My friend had fish which I tried and I had their award winning burger, both absolutely yummy. The food is probably priced reasonably for the area but we were on a voucher anyway. Can thoroughly recommend this eatery. My only regret is that I didn't take my phone with me so I can't include shots of the place.
first, when we asked for a certain beer, the bar writes about pouring something different than I corrected him, he told me it was all. he started pouring it? and did it 2 times with different beer (they had only one beer left) and then eat it. the salmon had all the bones through them, pigs were soggy and tasteless and $16 satay huhn was 3 tiny little pieces huh with the smallest quantity bought satay sauce. not to mention that it was burned haha. when we talked to the bar staff, they were not at all apologetic.
