Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by a couple of employees. Since it was a weekday, the restaurant was quite empty, which contributed to a relaxing atmosphere. As we settled in and browsed the drink menu, I was thrilled to spot one of my favorite beers, Yuengling! Being from Las Vegas, where it's not available, I always try to find it when I travel east.
Our server, Meaza, was outstanding! It was a breath of fresh air to encounter someone so friendly, attentive, and efficient, especially in today's world where such customer service is hard to come by. We ate dinner here on our overnight stay at the hotel. The menu was small but the food was delicious. Have eaten in other restaurants in other Doubletrees and were very disappointed. Not here. The kids meals chicken fingers were large. My wife had the brisket sliders, very good. I tasted them and was impressed. I had thd Hawaiian Pork Ribs and cannot say enough good things about them. Tasty, fall off the bone tender and a good size half rack. The waiter Mack was friendly and accomodating. The manager and chef also stopped over to make sure everything was the way we liked it. This restaurant is located in the DoubleTree hotel. Although we are not guests at the hotel, we are locals and decided to give it a try since it is close to where we live. The food was surprisingly good and reasonably priced, which can be rare for hotel restaurants. The menu mostly consisted of high-end pub dishes. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. I ordered the pasta Alfredo and the sauce tasted fresh and homemade. The service was excellent as well. The staff seemed genuinely happy to have local customers, as they likely cater more to hotel guests.
I don't recommend. I have the salmon piccata and the sautéed spinach. The spinach was extremely salty. The salmon initially tasted good, although slightly overcooked but I puked everything up, three times at the hotel and once more once I got home. The manager said it's the food from yesterday, which makes no sense as I would've puked yesterday, and the breakfast I had in the morning would have made me puke as well. Used this Resturant for breakfast, they charge 17 per adult and 10 per kid. Decent amount of food. Cereals, eggs, bacon, waffle station, coffee and juices. Service was great. I feel like you need to ask for the basic, there was no honey out or milk was hidden at the bottom on the ice where the yogurt is.
I highly recommend trying out this restaurant. They offer generous portions at affordable prices, and the environment is always clean and inviting. I would suggest others give it a try as well.
I ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts and long and behold they gave me boiled Brussels smh . I speechless lol but the burger was good ! Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
