This is our third visit to the restaurant (and the first since it’s “second star” . The experience as whole is marvellous and the food is outstanding. We chose the 5 course degustation and found that it was the perfect portions. The asparagus was a highlight, as was the light and fluffy brioche dessert. I have to mention though that I was extremely taken aback and somewhat disappointed to be seated right next to a dog, on his dog bed, inside the restaurant (and treated to the sound of it slurping water within a metre of me . My husband was born and raised in Kaysersberg and whilst we do acknowledge that it’s not unusual to take a dog to a restaurant in France- it’s pretty unfair to seat peop...

The first surprise after walking through the lobby of the hotel was the huge silver barracuda sculpture set in the entrance to the small dining room. From there Nasti delivered nice surprises in every way: creative dishes (eg char cooked in local beeswax), beautiful presentation, subtlety matching the dinnerware to the food being served…..including some old Alsatian plates to match the regional themed offerings. The food was well prepared and tasty, innovative but not trying to over reach and always not to far from the Alsatian roots. Really enjoyed the food here when we walked in and asked for lunch. Asparagus featured as a seasonal vegetable and we enjoyed both white and green in different dishes. A fellow diner advised it is good but expensive. It is not cheap. Only downside I experienced was in the side room were we were seated there was a high pitched continuous noise, possibly from a ventilation system.

Je comprends pourquoi le chef mérite les étoiles. Le service est de classe mondiale, la nourriture et les vins proviennent de la région et ont un goût incroyable. Bravo au chef et à son équipe !
