without doubt this place is my absolute favorite Boba place. I don't know why, but 8 degrees is just elite when it comes to their boba quality. I usually get the signature milk tea with 50% sweet and black pearls and it always manages to make my day better. the opposite is perhaps not the best, but 8 degrees is an absolute gem! the inner and inside is clean and well maintained and it has a great atmosphere. they have self-service kiosks with a large selection and pictures of all drinks, so they don't have to talk to a server unless they want what is a plus. overall, about the many paints I've never been here in quality, and they stay my favorite Boba joint all the time.
I discovered this place during my travels in 100-degree weather with no air conditioning. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the efficiency of the facility, with ordering and payment handled through a kiosk. I placed my order with one of the two staff members. The décor was beautiful yet simple. I enjoyed a mango smoothie with black boba, while my companion chose a strawberry banana smoothie with boba. The portion sizes were generous, the drinks were very cold, and they were beautifully presented in plastic cups with re-closable lids. I would definitely return if I'm in the area and in the mood for some boba.
Decent boba shop by Drake University. They are currently doing takeout only , but there 's three small tables inside to wait for your drink. If you are ordering with credit card, there 's self service kiosks now! There is a cashier available too if you 're paying by cash. Ube Latte: This was just okay. The ube paste was very grainy and the drink was overall kind of bland. The egg pudding was also pretty basic and did not have a strong egg flavor or sweetness to it. G Dragon: Fresh red grapefruit slices and dragonfruit bits! The green tea is fragrant too. Pretty good at 0% sugar even!
It was pretty fake/chemically/plasticky-smelling. And you had to order on a machine so you couldn't ask specific questions. And it was $6.41!!! And the boba was a weird texture, like, it just fell apart in your mouth. I liked the thriving mint plants and bench outside though. And the guy handing out drinks was nice.
It has a neat atmosphere. My first time eating matcha ice cream and red beans. It was interesting but realized it's not my cup of tea. That's just me. But they have different varieties of Boba teas and other caffeinated drinks. We sat out on the patio in the front. All in all a good experience.
The smoothies I tried were absolutely delicious! Just thinking about them makes my mouth water. They are truly the best smoothies I’ve ever had. I can't wait to try the Lil-Boba with the juice next—though I have to admit that I'm more excited about the actual boba! I'm sure it's amazing!
Ive had my eye on this place for awhile since its a few blocks from my place. I finally got the chance to try it Saturday, and I absolutely loved it! I got a strawberry smoothie with strawberry jellies and strawberry poppings, it was so good! Cant wait to try something new next time!
