El restaurante Arrels que recomendé en su día ha tenido que cerrar, y ha cogido el relevo de este luminoso comedor, con su terraza en la plaza de la iglesia, un amigo y reconocido cocinero con amplio bagaje tras el, pese a su juventud. Ha sido una grata noticia, y le deseo lo mejor porque entusiasmo y ganas no le faltan. Lo he probado hoy, y que por diez euros puedas comer unos platos tan bien presentados y elaborados, es algo a recomendar y difundir. Para empezar y sobre una tabla: crema de zanahoria con unos crujientes, magnífico acompañamiento, luego un par de trozos de pollo frito con sabor a curry, y una patata rellena. De segundo una olla de hierro con un magnífico arroz meloso de calamares, y como colofón tarta de queso, muy bien acompañada. Un acertado menú (que además ofrece la opción de cambiar el segundo plato), que si sigue en la misma tónica y además cuando esté la terraza en pleno uso, seguro le da muchas satisfacciones.
