My food order included grilled asparagus. They had no flaver, were squishy and looked like they were frozen. I can find better asparagus at Market Basket. My husbands ' order of steak tips was supposed to be smothered in sauteed mushrooms, peppers and onions. There were a few strings of measley peppers and onions and I didn 't see any mushrooms. Maybe we are spoiled. My husband is a great cook and the seafood stuffing on my shrimp tasted like wet bread. Again, no flavor whatsoever. I had to repeat my request to my server twice and she never bussed the table. So all of our used drink cups stayed on the table the entire meal. Unfortunately ninety nine restaurant is no longer my go to place. It really bothers me to write a negative review for the nines as I have been going there for over 40 years and had the pleasure of meeting Charlie on a few occasions many years ago. This place has lost its way and will continue to struggle until they go back to what made them a success years ago. I was shocked after reaching out to them that nobody even responded to me. There are many choices these days and I have found better places to spend my money.
Not a bad little restaurant. In a weird location, IMO. I visited here with my mother on, I believe, a Saturday afternoon and it was actually pretty nice. It wasn't as clear as I would have liked but for even being kinda busy, they did a good job. The waitress was better than I've had at other places and it didn't take too long for the food to come- which that (the food) was also pretty good. I don't really have a complaint so I think I would definitely recommend! Good Job 99!

the quality of food in the 99 is always good, especially given the very reasonable prices. fenders huh, fish that melts in the mouth, steak boiled to perfection. the list continues. this time I had the laugh and my son had the garnel. both were delicious! the sides are as important and as high quality! absolutely recommended for a cheap evening
You know eveything you get here will always be like the last time which is a good thing. No surprises and say the cooks had a bad day etc.. try the boneless chicken tenders...the tenders are tasty and TENDER!
Cozy little location with delicious pub type offerings for a reasonable price. Always friendly staff, nice place to watch a hockey/football game. Suggest the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread and boneless wings
The worst service. Food is nothing like it used to be. We won't be going there anymore. It pretty back when the waitstaff doesn't come over to you, to ask if everything is good.

Mexican bowl with shrimp was excellent and something I hadn't seen on the menu near home. Staff was very attentive.
99 restaurants are a staple in Massachusetts and NH. We enjoy the food and watching a game.
