This is a fantastic spot for a quick sandwich, delivering all the style, flavor, and friendliness you’d expect from a local deli. If we lived nearby, I fear we would frequent this place far too often! And if we had a cooler, we would have certainly stocked up on all the delicious options from the display case. My husband and I tried sandwiches #11 and #18, both of which were absolutely delicious! The bread was impeccable, and they were generously packed with the right ingredients. This place makes indulging in carbs not only acceptable but genuinely enjoyable. It’s the ideal stop for an authentic quick bite! We will definitely be returning!
I’m truly perplexed by the rave reviews this restaurant has received. It’s pretty hard to mess up a sandwich, but my experience was rather disappointing. The cold cuts tasted stale, and the bread was just as unappealing. The mozzarella was far from fresh, and the Capicola was sliced so thickly that it was difficult to chew—almost like beef jerky. To top it off, I ended up spending $54 on two sandwiches, a bag of chips, some fries, and a black and white cookie. I would suggest steering clear of this place.
I grew up directly across from the Fords shopping center, which has seen many changes over the years with various stores opening and closing. However, one thing that has remained constant is the outstanding quality of this restaurant. At A&G, they spare no effort, and the staff truly seems to take pleasure in serving their customers. My grandparents used to dine there, my parents did as well, and even now that I'm an adult living elsewhere, I always make it a point to stop by whenever I can.
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. As soon as you walk through the door, either John or Charlie welcomes you with genuine warmth, making you feel at home. You can pick anything from the menu and be amazed by the flavorful, homemade Italian dishes. They truly serve the best sandwiches in New Jersey! Réservez une table maintenant
Wow! This restaurant is simply incredible. I usually have no trouble finding the right words, but this experience has truly rendered me speechless! If you're in search of delicious, authentic Italian cuisine, you've found the perfect spot! This place is truly outstanding!
